Mask Hacks, the cowdog way

11/05/2021 by ladysmith@cowdogsadvice.com

You know, I notice fads and trends run through the people herds so fast even a great cowdog such as myself would have a hard time controlling them. With all the virus drama and masks piling up, this cowdog had to start thinking about a use for those things. So, my first list of Cowdog Mask Hacks!

Like a good organized cowdog, I like to see a purpose and place for everything.

It seems to me, this mask thing got ‘way out of control, running like a soap opera spectacle through the past couple of years.  Now, of course there was a virus, but then there have always been viruses. There were sure something  fishy  about this whole show, and how did this become the main focus of the human race, when other bugs have come and gone with little notice?

Maybe people have become all wrapped up in the fake reality TV mindset, so played into the virus scene too well. Perhaps it is time to practice a little more common sense. I think some are too easily worried and willing to turn to politicians for answers. Some are weak, lazy and unwilling to grip up , stand up, fight for right! Be a Heeler!

I wonder why masks became such a thing. If a mask worked so well, why still virus problems? If distancing and vaccines worked, why such fear? I see that even the great plagues of history didn’t wipe out the human race; people did walk out of Europe after the Black Death. Trials and woes come and go, life goes on. There is a lot more to life than blood and thunder. Take precautions as needed of course,  but don’t let a virus – or a government – determine your purpose and focus.

Consider how this crisis persists and seems to be the essence of government. I think it is a trial run in control and compliance; it is by degree that evil takes over. After all, Hitler was elected at first!

Well, with all these masks piling up, I’ve been thinking of some better uses for them. So here is the first Ladysmith List of Mask Hacks:

  1. Roll Holder – mom contains her garbage bag roll with a mask – now that is poetic justice.

2. Check your oil – works good to wipe the dipstick.

3. Butt wipes – it had to happen – if TP is in short supply, use a mask.

4. Chicken diaper – we don’t have pet chickens that come inside, but for all those who do.

5.  Target practice – makes a pretty good target to keep up shooting skills.

6. Jeep light cover – no, the jeep doesn’t need light covers, but everyone likes a classic old Jeep.

I love it!

7. Heeler lover – if you have to wear a mask, at least this raises the bar – it’s a Heeler mask!

Heeler’s rule!

And to go with the look, don’t forget the great Heeler Heart and Soul apparel, the best expression of where that cowdog fits into your life.

Welcome!

I am Ladysmith, a Blue Heeler. I live in central Montana with the people I rescued; my dad, a crusty old cowboy who swore he would never have another dog last time, but has been completely smitten by me ever since we met. My mom, a kind writer and artist, who knows I am a angel sent from heaven, and helps me with this endeavor.
