Valentine’s Day may be over, but it is another one of those holidays that mark the changes in our lives – and has some value we can apply all year.
I’ve had a few Valentine’s Day with my rescued family, and a couple without dad. Good thing I’m here! The boss was sad, but she fixed elk steak for us to enjoy together, and I did my best: coyote yip-yapping, dancing, letting her play ball with me, laying close – making sure there was love in the air and she smiled again!
So not just for February 14th – we should always practice a little more kindness and civility, along with total twitterpation! This is easy if you have a Heeler handy!
Here is some pretty good guidance on love…
Love is kind
Love keeps no record of wrongs,
does not
delight in evil,
but rejoices in the truth.
Love always protects,
always trusts,
Always hopes
Always perseveres
Love never fails.
1 Corinthians 13: 4-8
